Our 400K PPS Charging Stretch Goal was successfully unlocked! Over 2500+ amazing backers. Every backer will get their ScoutPro automatically upgraded with PPS charging support up to 100 watts. PPS allows for micro-adjustment of voltage and current between the ScoutPro and your PPS enabled device. If you don’t have a PPS enabled device yet, don’t worry your next phone, tablet, or laptop will likely support it :)

Some have asked if we will be using a pledge manager at the end of the campaign. We’re happy to report we’ve teamed up with Backerkit to make our campaign fulfillment a breeze for you. We’ve officially passed the half-way point on our campaign. Here at INTELLI we’re grateful for your enthusiasm on a project that we’ve planning and working on for so long :)
Our stretch goal for Samsung Watch charging support has been unlocked and we’re well on our way to unlocking PPS charging support! Please continue to help us spread the word about ScoutPro!
Some have reached out asking if we can do a digital readout, instead of bars to indicate the charge level of ScoutPro. This is a relatively simple change on our side, but we wanted to run the idea by you first. Below is a screen shot from our 3D mock-up that gives you an idea of how this would look / feel. We’re just about midway through our campaign and continue to be amazed by your support and enthusiasm of ScoutPro! As we shared in our last update, we’ve already begun the production process so we can ship your ScoutPro to you as quickly as possible.
Stretch Goal Update -
Since announcing our last stretch goal, a 20w travel charging bundle, many have reached out and shared their desire for Samsung Watch Charging or PPS Charing support instead. Based on your feedback, we’re happy to announce updated stretch goals of Samsung Watch Charging AND PPS Charging support!
Once we hit $350k in support, we will unlock a Samsung Watch Charging model of ScoutPro (you can select this model when completing your final survey). Adding Samsung Watch charging support provides a huge value to our Samsung Watch fans! Based on how close we are, this is surely going to happen!
Another common request for ScoutPro is to include PPS support. We’re happy to announce a new stretch goal that will allow us to add in USB 3.0 PPS support! Once we hit $400k in support, we’ll upgrade all ScoutPro models to include PPS support.
PPS allows for dynamic re-negotiation of various voltages and currents between the charger and the phone. It is a bit similar to how Qualcomm's Quick Charge works, if you are familiar with that.
